A good place to camp here at Trout Lake is Driftwood Shores RV Park, and there are great places to explore along the Haywire Grade ORV Trail. A common amount of rainfall falls here at Trout Lake; the wettest month of the year is typically September, that's the one that rains the most, and February is when       it's the driest. High temperatures at Trout Lake through the warmest time of the year are in the 70's; throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. All through the winter this place gets highs in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Trout Lake are in the 0's. All the outdoors fun things in the neighborhood of Trout Lake will keep you coming back persistently. Trout Lake is great enough to spend more than a day at, Indian Lake Travel Resort                  is a great local campground, and Comfort Inn Manistique is a tremendous site to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. Bear Slough is a perfect site to explore, and do go to Ashford Lake, it's a delightful lake.
