If you like lakes and you're in this part of Michigan you can check out Trout Lake. There are some great whitewater spots on Michigamme River, and a glorious place to camp here at Trout Lake is Michigamme Shores Campground. Trout Lake gets a common amount of annual precipitation; September is when you get the most rain here; the driest month is February. This lake is so wonderful. | | or two; dry warm beds await you at Best Western Baraga Lakeside Inn. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 70's to Trout Lake. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's, and night lows in the 0's for Trout Lake. There's whitewater on Peshekee River for all you adrenaline rush seekers. Lakes are good; Beaufort Lake is a lake that's close to Trout Lake.
