The Norway Ridge Trail offers hiking at its best, and a wonderful nearby hotel is Alpena-Days Inn. Trapp Lake is right by the Devils Lake Trail, and you'll discover a wonderful lake called Denton Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Camping is available at Campers Cove RV and Campground; Best Western Of Alpena is a great site to get some rest. At Trapp Lake throughout the warm months       highs are in the 70's while night lows are ordinarily in the 50's. Highs throughout the winter are generally in the 20's with temperatures at Trapp Lake dipping down into the 0's throughout winter nights. Be careful coming to Trapp Lake, you might not ever want to return back home again. If you came for an overnight stay Thunder Bay RV Park and Campground is a great location to camp. From a precipitation point of view Trapp Lake is a reasonably typical place;                  of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain; the driest of the months is February.
