If the weather is great here at Trapp Lake, you can go for a hike along the Norway Ridge Trail. If you need a place to stay Alpena-Days Inn is a glorious choice, and the Devils Lake Trail is a glorious hiking trail close by. At Trapp Lake all through the months of summer highs are in the 70's, and the overnight is a bit cooler of course, generally in the 50's. Highs through the winter are ordinarily       in the 20's, and after the sun is down throughout the winter temperatures at Trapp Lake plunge into the 0's. Trapp Lake is a good place of typical rainfall; August is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest month is February. Best Western Of Alpena is a delightful location to get some rest; Thunder Bay RV Park and Campground is a pleasant local campground. This lake is so wonderful.
