This lake is so wonderful. Looking for some flowing water? Try Grassy Creek, and if you need a place to stay AmericInn Munising is a wonderful choice. Why not camp at Island Lake Campground since you're here at Townline       Lake; going for a hike on the Haywire Grade ORV Trail is always a great adventure. The amount of precipitation that falls at Townline Lake is close to the national average; the month with most of the rain is September, and February on the other hand is the driest. You assume that's enough? Just getting warmed up. Camping is available at Wide Water Campground, and close by you stumble on the Big Island Lake Portage Canoe Trail which is a good hiking trail.                  A pretty lake like McKeever Lake in the neighborhood of Townline Lake is a good site to visit, and the panoramas at Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore will blow your mind. Summertime highs at Townline Lake generally tend to be in the 70's; through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's.
