An average amount of precipitation falls at Tonawanda Lake; throughout the month of September you get the most rain around here; the driest month is February. If you want to play some golf, you're in luck because Interlochen Golf Club is close at hand. There's so much to do here at Tonawanda Lake that you need to camp here for       a while, Cycle-Moore is a perfect spot for that. This spot rocks, just look at all the enjoyable things to do in the neighborhood of Tonawanda Lake. Do explore Ellis Lake near Tonawanda Lake, it's a lovely lake, and Econo Lodge Traverse City is a glorious location to get some rest. The fine folks of Traverse City like to hang out nearby; the Caberfae Way Snowmobile Trail is a fine hiking trail close by. This lake is so wonderful. Very beautiful scenery and great                  skiing is what you get at Crystal Mountain; if you came to camp Lakeside Resort and Party Store is a good place to do that. This lake is so wonderful. If time allows, Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore is a national park worth a visit. A pretty lake like Mud Lake near Tonawanda Lake is a great location to stop at, and after a long day outdoors Fairfield Inn & Suites Traverse City is a splendid place to spend a night or two. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Tonawanda Lake, and the night is a tad colder of course, mostly in the 50's.
