This lake is so wonderful. Skiing at Marquette is one of those things you just must do. From a rainfall point of view Tilden Lake is a relatively typical location; the month of September is the wettest with most of the rain while February is ordinarily the driest month. If you came for an overnight stay Country Village RV Park is a magnificent place to camp, and if you've had enough of
Tilden Lake, Voelker Lake is nearby. You could also pop by Lake Angeline since you're here at Tilden Lake; it's nearby, and there's perfect hiking along the Holyoke Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Horseshoe Lake Camp Grounds is
a brilliant campground nearby, and if you don’t have a problem getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Escanaba River - Middle Branch.
