Do stop by Thrush Lake while you're in this part of Michigan. This lake is so wonderful. Get covered with water paddling on Planter Creek, and camping at Presque Isle Campground is always a tremendous experience. There's just no way anybody can get bored here at Thrush Lake. Nearby lakes? Sure, Mink Lake is in the neighborhood of Thrush Lake, and Americinn - Minocqua, Wi is a wonderful place to get some rest. Thrush Lake is located in the Gogebic Range.

The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 70's to Thrush Lake. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 10's with temperatures
at Thrush Lake dipping down into the-10's throughout winter nights. Thrush Lake gets a normal amount of yearly rainfall; the month with most of the rain is August, and February is when it's the driest. Take a side visit to Moraine Creek; if you came to camp Henry Lake Campground is a brilliant site to do that.
