You'll need more than a day to explore everything Three Lakes has to offer, you can camp at City Of Marquette. Looking for some flowing water? Try Reany Creek, and do take a hike on the Holyoke Trail. For the duration of the warm months at Three Lakes highs are frequently in the 70's, and the overnight is rather colder of course, generally in the 50's. For the duration of the wintertime       this place gets highs in the 20's, and through the dark hours in the wintertime at Three Lakes temperatures sink to the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. This is a splendid area for people who like lakes. Wetmore Pond is a lake in the vicinity; dry warm beds await you at Days Inn Marquette. The amount of precipitation that falls at Three Lakes is close to the national average; September is when you get the most rain here; February is the month with the least                  moisture. You can never get enough of the splendid skiing at Marquette; if you're a golfer then a delightful close by course is Marquette Golf & Country Club. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors amusing things the area right next door to Three Lakes has to offer. You can run the rapids of Dead River right next door to Three Lakes, and the summit of Sugarloaf Mountain can be seen from Three Lakes. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Three Lakes that you need to camp here for a while, Gitche Gumee Campground and RV is a good place for that, and a tremendous place for whitewater paddling is Carp River.
