At Thompson Lake you always meet someone from Sturgis; Wood Motel Sturgis is a magnificent site to get some rest. Thompson Lake is not the only site nearby, Dry Lake is a nearby lake, and dry warm beds await you at Sturgis Knights Inn. Thompson Lake gets a common amount of annual precipitation; most of the rain falls through July, and February meanwhile is the driest month. Camping is available at Amigo Park.       During the warm days of summer here at Thompson Lake, high temperatures mostly get into the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 60's. During the winter the highs are usually in the 20's, and overnight lows at Thompson Lake through the wintertime mostly fall into the 10's. This lake is so wonderful.
