     If you came for an overnight stay Paulging Pond Campground and Picnic Area is a fine place to camp, and do stop at McGinty Creek since you're here at Temple Lake. All the outdoors enjoyable things near Temple Lake will keep you coming back over and over. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always check out close by Bum Lake, and if you need a place to stay Wild Eagle Lodge is a good choice. During the long summer days at Temple Lake temperatures  
   are ordinarily in the 70's. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 50's. High temperatures throughout the winter are normally in the 10's, and night lows at Temple Lake during the wintertime usually dip into the 0's.
This lake is so wonderful. The North Country National Scenic Trail offers hiking at its best; camping is available at Marion Lake Campground and Picnic Area. Not far from Temple Lake, you'll find Bracken Lake
 
               which is a delightful lake, and do put some time aside to spend at Mex-i-min-e Falls since you're here at Temple Lake. Temple Lake is a good place of common precipitation; of all the months in a year September is the one with the most rain; February is when it's the driest.
Get covered with water paddling on Ontonagon River - Middle Branch, and there's perfect hiking along the Kentuck-Spectacle Lake Trail.
