Teal Lake is a tremendous location to visit for more than one day, Horseshoe Lake Camp Grounds is a tremendous location to camp nearby; good hiking is available along the Holyoke Trail. This lake is so wonderful. The amount of rain that falls at Teal Lake is close to the       national average; of all the months in a year September is the one with the most rain, and February on the other hand is the driest. Not far from Teal Lake, you'll discover Gunpowder Lake which is a lovely lake, and there are plenty of folks from Marquette here at Teal Lake. So many amusing things in the neighborhood of Teal Lake, absolutely amazing. If you don’t have a problem getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Escanaba River - Middle                  Branch, and Country Village RV Park is a pleasant local campground.
