If you don’t have a problem getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Ontonagon River - Middle Branch; why not spend some time golfing at a close by golf course like Perttu's Big Spruce Golf Course. Very scenic scenery and magnificent skiing is what you get at Porcupine Mountain, and Tanlund Lake is right by the North Country National Scenic Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Tanlund Lake is brilliant       enough to spend more than a day at, Robbins Pond Campground is a brilliant local campground, and Erickson Lake is a nearby lake that you could stop by. If you want a magnificent time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Tanlund Lake. There's so much to do here at Tanlund Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Paulging Pond Campground and Picnic Area is a fine site for that. During the summertime here at Tanlund Lake, high temperatures frequently                  reach the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 50's. All through the wintertime highs are regularly in the 10's, and night lows at Tanlund Lake through the wintertime mostly sink into the-10's. Tanlund Lake gets a normal amount of precipitation; all through the month of August you get the most rain around here; the driest month of the year is February. Looking for some flowing water?
