From a precipitation point of view Tamarack Lake is a relatively common spot; the month of July is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest month of the year is February. That right there is a load already, but it carries on; Tamarack Lake has it all. Dry Lake is a delightful       lake in the neighborhood of Tamarack Lake, and if you like skiing, you're in luck; Swiss Valley is rather near. Riverside Campgrounds is a splendid campground nearby It's always perfect to explore Mound Spring. This lake is so wonderful. If you came for an overnight stay Green Valley Campgrounds is a great spot to camp. Lakes? Sure, Goose Pond is close by. Best Western Howe Inn is a splendid spot to get some rest; playing golf is lots of fun at Island Hills                  Golf Club. For the period of the warm months at Tamarack Lake highs are usually in the 80's. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 60's.
