    A visit to Talbot Pond is always a good idea. Talbot Pond beyond doubt is in the middle of a delightful outdoors paradise. A great nearby hotel is Econo Lodge On The Bay. If you came for an overnight stay Stephenson Motel is a wonderful site to camp, and if you get bored of Talbot Pond you could also check out close by Wire Grass Lake. The amount of rain that falls at Talbot Pond is close to the national average; of all the months in a year September is the one with  
   the most rain, and February is when it's the driest.
In the event that you don't mind getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Menominee River; Shakey Lakes Park is a tremendous campground nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Snow Creek is a stream that you may encounter during your stay; if you're popping by from Marinette, you won't be the only one. During the warm months, highs typically are in the 80's at Talbot Pond. When the night
 
               sets in temperatures descend down into the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 20's; night lows in the 0's for Talbot Pond.
DeGroote Lake is a nearby lake that you could pop by, and after a long day outdoors Americinn - Menominee, Mi is a wonderful location to spend a night or two.

This camp ground is the best I travel 346 mi or 6 hours to enjoy it. Unfortamatly not this year =[...i like camping alot and this is one of the better places I have gone because you can do alot to entertain yourself and theres always good fishing on the lakes so I highly reccomend this campground to anyone that wants to have a good time and lots of fun....This is a nice campground but there are alot of seasonal sites that fill the park...this is a nice camping spoy with plenty of attractions you wont be disappointed...
