This lake is so wonderful. The skiing at Crystal Mountain is fine; a beautiful lake like Timmerman Lake is a great place to check out. During the warm days of summer highs here at Sylvan Pond get into the 70's. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 50's. Highs through the       winter are generally in the 20's, and after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Sylvan Pond sink into the 10's. Sylvan Creek is near Sylvan Pond and is always a diversion to stop at, and if you're here you can play some golf at Fawn Crest Golf Course. Budget Host Alpine Motor Lodge is a perfect site to get some rest; hiking is a popular thing to do around Sylvan Pond; Ward Hills Snowmobile Trail is a great local trail. Sylvan Pond is a good location                  of normal rain; all through the month of September you get the most rain around here while February is usually the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Take a hike on the Indian Trail. Why not take a refreshing hike along the North Country National Scenic Trail; if you came for an overnight stay R and J Resort Campground is a delightful spot to camp. Now, you may feel that's plenty but there's even more exciting stuff to do here at Sylvan Pond.
