There's just no way someone can get bored here at Switzer Lake. On a perfect day at Switzer Lake you can take a hike along the Hungerford Cross Country Ski Trail, and get dripping wet paddling on Pine River. This lake is so wonderful. A swamp like Spring Lake right next door to Switzer Lake has lots of exciting       things to see, and Switzer Lake is a perfect spot to visit for more than one day, Whispering Oaks Campground and Cabins is a perfect spot to camp nearby. There's some flowing water nearby, Blood Creek is a stream you can check out while here. The Lincoln Mills Snowmobile Trail is a great hiking trail near Switzer Lake, and Putman Lake Camping is a brilliant campground nearby. There is a splendid hiking trail in close proximity to Switzer Lake called the                  Ward Hills Snowmobile Trail; a lake close by is Paradise Lake. Switzer Lake gets a common amount of annual rainfall; September is the month that gets the most rain, and February on the other hand is the driest. Through the days of summer here at Switzer Lake, high temperatures mostly get into the 80's with night lows in the 50's.
