There's splendid hiking along the Horseshoe Lake Cycle Trail, and camping at Sweet Lake is great fun, Muskegon Koa Kampground is a great local campground. Sweet Lake is a good place of normal rain; September is the wettest month with most rain, and February on the other hand is the driest. At Sweet Lake all through the warmest time of the year highs are in the 80's. Through the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into       the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Sweet Lake are in the 10's. Don't stop me now, cause I'm havin' a great time here at Sweet Lake. Burns Lake is a nearby lake that you could take a look at, and golf can be played at Chase Hammond Golf Club. A pleasant close by hotel is Comfort Inn Muskegon, and do stop by West Branch Cedar Creek since you're here at Sweet Lake. There are plenty of people from Muskegon-Norton                  Shores here at Sweet Lake; don't leave Sweet Lake without first going for a hike along the Cedar Creek Cycle Trail. This lake is so wonderful.
