Summer at Stump Lake comes with high temperatures in the 70's while nighttime lows are mostly in the 50's. For the duration of the winter highs are in the 20's with temperatures at Stump Lake dipping down into the 0's through winter nights. Have a great hiking adventure along the Lakeshore Trail, and obviously, all our national parks are great sites to visit and Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore is no exception. Take a hike on the Big Island Lake Portage Canoe Trail, and Upper Lake is a great lake close by. This lake                  is so wonderful. Hiking along the Haywire Grade ORV Trail is glorious fun, and camping at Island Lake Campground is always a tremendous experience.
