A round of golf at nearby Evergreen Golf Course is a glorious way to kill some time. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a spot to stay Fairfield Inn By Marriott Traverse City is a splendid choice, and Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore is a wonderful national park. Stricker Lake gets a normal amount of precipitation; all through September this area sees the most rain while February is the month with the       least amount of precipitation. You could also stop by Fern Lake while you're here at Stricker Lake; it's close by, and Leelanau Pines is a brilliant local campground. During the summer, highs usually are in the 80's at Stricker Lake, and the nighttime is a tad colder of course, usually in the 50's. During the wintertime the highs are typically in the 20's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Stricker Lake. Get soaked paddling on Boardman River;                  brilliant skiing awaits you at Homestead. Lots of folks from Traverse City come to Stricker Lake, and a lake nearby is Coffield Lake.
