The Minong Ridge Fire Manway offers hiking at its best, and swing by Big Siskiwit River it's a great spot to stop by. A journey to nearby Checker Point is very relaxing, and you can stay the night at Hay Bay Campground. During the long summer days highs here at Stickleback Lake reach the 70's, and all through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. High temperatures throughout the wintertime are       normally in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Stickleback Lake are in the 0's. The yearly rain here at Stickleback Lake is about average; of all the months in a year January is the one with the most snow, and the driest month is April. This lake is so wonderful. Spend the day on the beach at Carnelian Beach while you're here at Stickleback Lake, and Stickleback Lake is right by the Ishpeming Trail.
