If you like swamps, you're in luck, Rathburn Lake is right close by, and on a great day you can take a hike along the North Country National Scenic Trail. This lake is so wonderful. After       a long day outdoors Ramada Inn & Convention Center Ludington Mi is a good site to spend a night or two, and there are other locations here than Stewart Lake, for example Pleiness Lake. If you came to camp Whiskey Creek is a splendid location to do that, and you can have a nice hiking adventure along the Indian Trail. Stewart Lake is a good spot of normal precipitation; the month with most of the rain is September while February is ordinarily the driest month.                  While you're here at Stewart Lake you can take a hike along the Woods Trail, and camping at Scottville Riverside Park is always a brilliant experience.
