Pine River has a tremendous whitewater paddling spot nearby, and Stewart Lake is splendid enough to spend more than a day at, Kestelwoods Campgrounds is a splendid local campground. At Stewart Lake through the days of summer highs are in the 80's with nighttime lows in the 50's. High temperatures through the wintertime are normally in the 20's, and nighttime lows in       the 10's for Stewart Lake. Having a good time at Stewart Lake is easy. A quick journey to North Branch Twin Creek in the neighborhood of Stewart Lake is a great idea, and Stewart Lake is right by the McKenzie Ski Trail. There's so much to do here at Stewart Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Old Grade Campground is a great site for that, and you're in all probability into lakes, Ingerman Lake is one of those nearby. The amount of precipitation                  that falls at Stewart Lake is close to the national average; during September this area sees the most rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Hiking along the Caberfae Way Snowmobile Trail is good fun. Rivers Edge Log Cabins is a fine place to get some rest, and there are swamps here too, Conant Marsh is in the neighborhood.
