A pleasant close by hotel is Crystal Mountain Resort and Spa, and there are swamps here too, Conant Marsh is in close proximity. Stewart Lake is a good place of normal rain; all through September this area sees the most rain, and February meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Take a little spree to North Branch Twin Creek if you're here at Stewart Lake, and going for a hike on the McKenzie       Ski Trail is always a perfect adventure. Through the days of summer highs here at Stewart Lake get into the 80's. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 50's. For the duration of the winter this place gets highs in the 20's, and during the dark hours in the wintertime at Stewart Lake temperatures drop to the 10's.
