A lake nearby is Denton Lake, and Stevenson Lake is a place with many visitors from Mount Pleasant. Eagle Glen Golf Course is a brilliant golf course nearby, and if you came for an overnight stay Haas' Hidden Hill Campground is a splendid place to camp. Camping is available at Evergreen Acres Campground, and after a long day outdoors Holiday Inn Express Clare Mi is a magnificent place to spend       a night or two. Chippewa River is a great whitewater spot near Stevenson Lake; Doherty Hotel is a pleasant place to get some rest.
