In case you don’t have a problem getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Boardman River, and Crystal Mountain is a good local ski area. Stevens Lake gets a typical amount of annual precipitation; through September this area sees the most rain, and February on the other hand is the driest. This lake       is so wonderful. The vistas at Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore will blow your mind, and the skiing at Homestead is nice. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Stevens Lake you can play some golf at Mistwood Golf Course. A great place to camp here at Stevens Lake is Lime Lake Campground, of course you could also take a look at Black Lake since you're here; it's not far at all. The summit of Varney Hill can be seen from Stevens Lake, and if                  you've had enough of Stevens Lake, Horseshoe Lake is nearby. This place, Stevens Lake, it simply has so much outdoors amusing stuff. A magnificent nearby hotel is Crystal Mountain Resort and Spa; why not camp at Cycle-Moore while you're here at Stevens Lake. During the summer months, highs generally are in the 70's at Stevens Lake, and the night is a little chillier of course, mostly in the 50's.
