Looking for something right next door to Star Lake? Pine Lake is nearby; a nice close by hotel is Budget Host Alpine Motor Lodge - Manistee Onekama. This lake is so wonderful. Star Lake is not the only location close by, Cranberry Lake is a close by lake; close by you locate the North Country National Scenic Trail which is a great hiking       trail. Enjoy a round of golf at Fawn Crest Golf Course not far from Star Lake, and going for a hike on the Lincoln Mills Snowmobile Trail is always a brilliant adventure. Yep, outdoors enjoyable things to do are in fact plentiful here at Star Lake. If you came to camp Tippy Dam Road Campgrounds is a splendid location to do that; there is a great hiking trail close by called the Ward Hills Snowmobile Trail. Star Lake gets a common amount of yearly rainfall;                  the wettest month of the year is mostly September, that's the one that rains the most, and February is when it's the driest. During the summer months at Star Lake temperatures are regularly in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 50's. For the duration of the wintertime highs are commonly in the 20's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Star Lake.
