It's a good idea to stop at Twin Falls Creek, it's in close proximity to Star Lake; at Twin Falls Dam close to Star Lake there are some exciting things to see. Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites IRON MOUNTAIN is a brilliant location to get some rest; if you get bored of Star Lake you could also take a look at nearby Moon Lake. This lake is so wonderful. All through the long summer days at Star Lake highs are generally in the 70's. Summer night lows dip down to the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Star Lake are in the-10's. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Star Lake has to offer, you can camp at Iron Mountain Campgrounds; a lake nearby is Bass Lake.
