Near Stanley Lake you stumble on the Lauterman Trail which is a good hiking trail, and scenic scenery and wonderful skiing is what you get at Ski Brule. You get a brilliant vista of Sheridan Hill from Stanley Lake, and what would winter be without some skiing at Brule Mountain. And that's not all you can do here at Stanley Lake. Stanley Lake gets a typical amount of yearly rainfall; the wettest month of the year is usually August, that's the one that rains the most, and February is when it's the driest. Suites is a good choice. Through the warm months here at Stanley Lake, high temperatures commonly reach the 70's, and through the night it cools down to the 50's. During the wintertime the highs are ordinarily in the 20's; nighttime
lows through the wintertime for Stanley Lake tend to be in the 0's. Whitewater paddling is great on Brule River, and Camp Lake is a nearby lake that you could explore.
