A wonderful place to camp here at Stanley Lake is Iron River Rv Park, and going for a hike along the Lauterman Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region. From a precipitation point of view Stanley Lake is a rather common location; throughout the month of August you get the most rain around here while February is mostly the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Don't forget to take a great little trip to Allen Creek, and camping is available

| | at Stevens Lake Campground. At Stanley Lake during the summer months highs are in the 70's with night lows in the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 20's, and after the sun is down throughout the winter temperatures at Stanley Lake dip into the 0's. The snow is nice at Ski Brule, and a glorious nearby hotel is Best Western Crandon Inn & Suites. is a good choice. There's whitewater on Brule River for all you adrenaline rush seekers, and Sheridan Hill is a peak you can catch a glimpse of from Stanley Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Head up to Brule Mountain and strap
some skis to your feet. All the outdoors exciting things near Stanley Lake will keep you coming back again and again. There are some perfect whitewater spots on Pine River. Lakes? Sure, Snipe Lake is in the neighborhood.
