If you came for an overnight stay Silver Lake Resort is a perfect place to camp; there's whitewater on Michigamme River for all you adrenaline rush seekers. You can run the rapids of Peshekee River in close proximity to Spruce Lake. Summertime brings highs in the 70's to Spruce Lake, and the nighttime is a bit colder of course, regularly in the 50's. Throughout the wintertime       this place gets highs in the 20's; all through the dark hours in the wintertime at Spruce Lake temperatures sink to the 0's. Why not camp at Michigamme Shores Campground if you're here at Spruce Lake, needless to say you could also explore Beaufort Lake while you're here; it's not far at all. The yearly precipitation here at Spruce Lake is about average; the month with most of the rain is September while February is generally the driest month.
