Go to Spring Lake if you want to go to a nice lake. If you don't mind getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Menominee River; if you're going to from Iron Mountain, you won't be the only one. You can never get enough of the brilliant skiing at Norway Mountain, and Brule River has a nice whitewater paddling spot nearby. If you're interested in hydro structures, you can stop by Twin Falls Dam, and why not camp at Iron Mountain Campgrounds

This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Super 8 Motel - Iron Mountain is a delightful site to spend a night or two. And that's not all you can do here at Spring Lake. High temperatures at Spring Lake during the summer months are in the 70's. Once the sun is down
it dips down to the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 20's, and through the dark hours in the wintertime at Spring Lake temperatures fall to the-10's. From a rain point of view Spring Lake is a rather common
place; during the month of June you get the most rain around here; the driest month of the year is February. You'll come across a beautiful lake called Deer Lake near Spring Lake, and Timberstone Golf Course is a wonderful golf course nearby.
