There's so much to do here at Spring Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Whispering Valley Campground is a great place for that, and Super 8 Motel - Escanaba is a good site to get some rest. There are some pleasant whitewater spots on Au Train River, and don't forget to take a brilliant little trip to Casey Creek. Spring Lake is a good site of common rain; during September this area sees the most rain,       and the driest month is February. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Bay De Noe Grand Island Trail; the skiing at Gladstone Ski Park is great. Now, you may believe that's a load but there's even more amusing stuff to do here at Spring Lake. Spring Lake is right by the Chatham Ski Trail, and after a long day outdoors Escanaba MI Travelodge is a splendid place to spend a night or two. At Spring Lake you always meet someone from Escanaba. Throughout                  the long summer days here at Spring Lake, high temperatures usually get into the 70's, and the night is quite chillier of course, typically in the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Spring Lake. This lake is so wonderful.
