Swiss Valley is a glorious local ski
area; a great location for whitewater paddling is Christiana Creek. This lake is so wonderful. You could also take a look at Coberts Lake since you're here at Spring Lake; it's close by. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Spring Lake has to offer, you can camp at Sunny Haven Recreation Park.
