Through the days of summer here at Sportsmen Lake, high temperatures mostly reach the 80's. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 50's. For the period of the winter highs are mostly in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Sportsmen Lake are in the 0's. Not far from Sportsmen Lake, you'll stumble on Voyer Lake which is a gorgeous lake, and why not camp at Shady Acres Campground while you're here at Sportsmen       Lake. Whitewater paddling is great on Ocqueoc River, and if you came for an overnight stay Mio Pine Acres Campground is a magnificent place to camp. This lake is so wonderful. Near Sportsmen Lake you find a golf course called Elk Ridge Golf Course, and if you need a location to stay Wayside Cabins is a nice choice.
