Spider Ponds is a nice lake to visit. This lake is so wonderful. Silver Creek is a lovely stream that is worth a visit, and Northwoods Retreat is a brilliant location to get some rest. If you haven’t been to Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore, you have to schedule some time for it since you're here. Near Spider Ponds you come across the Chatham Ski Trail which is a tremendous hiking trail, and dry warm beds await you at Bay House.

| | at Spider Ponds that you need to camp here for a while, Au Train Lake Campground is a great site for that, needless to say you could also visit Ivars Pond while you're here; it's not far at all. Any time is a magnificent time at Spider Ponds if you like the outdoors. If you came to camp Laughing Whitefish Campground is a glorious location to do that, and going for a hike on the Addis Lakes Ski Trail is always a perfect adventure. at Spider Ponds highs are ordinarily in the 70's, and during the night it cools down to the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's, and through the dark hours in the wintertime at Spider Ponds temperatures descend to the
10's.
There are great locations to discover along the Valley Spur Ski Trail, and if you come at the right time of year, Au Train River offers some perfect whitewater. A common amount of precipitation falls here at Spider Ponds; the month with most of the rain is September while February is frequently the driest month.
