A striking lake like North Twin Lake right next door to South Twin Lake is a wonderful site to pop by, and if you came to camp Lakeside Resort and Party Store is a tremendous site to do that. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Fairfield Inn By Marriott Traverse City is a great location to spend a night or two, and drift down the rapids of Boardman River in a kayak. South Twin Lake is       a good site of common rain; the month with most of the rain is September; the driest month of the year is February. Yeah, come here to South Twin Lake for a fine time. A wonderful nearby hotel is Courtyard By Marriott Traverse City, and the best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of nearby Homestead. A visit to Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore is recommended. If you're a golfer then a nice close by course is Cedar Hills Golf Course, and the                  good people of Traverse City like to hang out close by. At South Twin Lake through the summertime highs are in the 80's, and through the night it cools down to the 50's. For the duration of the wintertime this place gets highs in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to South Twin Lake.
