Get wet paddling on Huron River, and Waterloo Recreation Area is a nice campground nearby. You'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Mount Brighton while you're here. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to South Lake, and the night is a tad chillier of course, commonly in the 50's. During the wintertime the highs       are usually in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to South Lake. South Lake gets a normal amount of rain; through June this area sees the most rain, and the driest of the months is February. This lake is so wonderful. South Lake is not the only spot nearby, Snyder Lake is a nearby lake, and if you're here you will meet lots of folks from close by Ann Arbor.
