Gotta ski! Treetops Sylvan is a brilliant site to do that, and a perfect place to camp here at South Crooked Lake is Lakes Of The North Campground. Be careful coming to South Crooked Lake, you might not ever wanna go home again. For you golfers we recommend close by Lakes of the North Deer Run Golf Course. Why not camp at Whispering Pines Family       Campground if you're here at South Crooked Lake, and everybody nearby loves skiing at Hanson Hills. Summer brings highs in the 80's to South Crooked Lake, and during the night it cools down to the 50's. Through the winter the highs are mostly in the 20's; after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at South Crooked Lake plunge into the 0's. The annual rain here at South Crooked Lake is about average; through the month of September you get the                  most rain around here, and the driest of the months is February. This lake is so wonderful.
