     If you need a place to stay Treetops Resort is a delightful choice. Lakes? Sure, East Twin Lake is nearby. Sno-Trac Village is a great local campground, and Comstock Hills is uncomplicated to spot from Snyder Lake. For the duration of the warm months here at Snyder Lake, high temperatures commonly get into the 80's. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 50's. Throughout the wintertime this place gets highs in the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight  
   here at Snyder Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Why not camp at Shady Acres Campground while you're here at Snyder Lake, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always go to nearby Little Bear Lake.
Snyder Lake is a good site of typical rain; the month with most of the rain is September, and the driest month of the year is February.

Snowboarders are welcome at Treetops. They are allowed on the entire ski area and have a new terrain park with 12 features for their own private use.The new terrain park contains 2 flat 10' beginner rails as well as a 20' intermediate round rail. There are some challenging additions such as a beginner 16' battle ship kinked rail as well as a 16' intermediate rainbow rail. In addition, there are man-made and natural jib features such as barrels, and logs that can be used to slide or jump over or tap with skis or boards. Nordic enthusiasts will find the ''Midwest's best terrain'' for cross-country skiing. The 12 km of groomed and tracked trails are all clearly marked and range in difficulty from beginner to expert.
