Snipe Lake gets a typical amount of precipitation; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain; the driest month of the year is February. This lake is so wonderful. You can never get enough of the good skiing at Brule Mountain. Really good skiing awaits you at Ski Brule, and paddling on Brule River is so much fun. What a location this is for outdoors people. Why       not camp at Stevens Lake Campground while you're here at Snipe Lake, and the vista of pretty Sheridan Hill is fine. Summertime brings highs in the 70's to Snipe Lake. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures sink down into the 50's. All through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Snipe Lake.
