Get yourself into a kayak and hit Pike River, and what would winter be without some skiing at Norway Mountain. At Snakey Lake through the warmest time of the year highs are in the 80's with nighttime lows in the 50's. High temperatures throughout the winter are normally in the 20's, and night lows during the winter for Snakey Lake tend to be in the 0's. A normal amount of precipitation       falls here at Snakey Lake; September is when you get the most rain here, and February on the other hand is the driest. If you come at the right time of year, Menominee River offers some good whitewater; Snakey Lake is nice enough to spend more than a day at, Stephenson Motel is a nice local campground. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always take a look at nearby Resort Lake; a nice nearby hotel is Comfort Inn Marinette.
