There's just no way somebody can get bored here at Smith Lake. Smith Lake is a great place to visit for more than one day, Manistee Station Cabin and Camping is a great place to camp nearby. At Smith Lake throughout the warm days of summer highs are in the 80's. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 20's,       and after the sun is down all through the winter temperatures at Smith Lake drop into the 10's. Stay the night at Kalkaska RV Park & Campground, and lakes are such serene places, why not take a look at Milk Lake. After a long day outdoors Legend Cottage Inn is a brilliant site to spend a night or two, and if you want to play some golf, you're in luck because Twin Birch Golf Club is in the neighborhood. Smith Lake gets a common amount of yearly precipitation;                  of all the months in a year September is the one with the most rain, and February is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful.
