Daytime highs throughout the wintertime are in the 20's, and after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Slack Lake fall into the 10's. Slack Lake beyond doubt is in the middle of a wonderful outdoors paradise.       Captain's Club Golf Course is a tremendous golf course nearby, and dry warm beds await you at Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites GRAND BLANC. Stay the night at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Camp, and you're in all probability into lakes, Martin Lake is one of those close by. The yearly rainfall here at Slack Lake is about average; of all the months in a year September is the one with the most rain, and February is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Head                  up to Pine Nob and strap some skis to your feet, and after a long day outdoors Comfort Inn & Suites Grand Blanc is a great site to spend a night or two. The best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by Mount Holly.
