This lake is so wonderful. A splendid place to camp here at Skab Lake is Sunny Haven Recreation Park, and after a long day outdoors The Morris Inn is a pleasant spot to spend a night or two. Skab Lake gets a typical amount of annual precipitation; of all the months in a year September is the one with the most rain, and February is when it's the driest.       Now, you may imagine that's a heap but there's even more entertaining stuff to do here at Skab Lake. Playing golf is lots of fun at Garver Lake Golf Course, and the slopes of Swiss Valley are so inviting nobody can resist. All through the long summer days here at Skab Lake, high temperatures mostly reach the 80's; the nighttime is a bit cooler of course, frequently in the 60's. For the period of the wintertime highs are commonly in the 30's; after the sun                  is down during the wintertime temperatures at Skab Lake sink into the 10's. If you need a place to stay Candlewood Suites ELKHART is a fine choice. If you don't mind getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Christiana Creek, and lakes are such serene spots, why not visit Gray Lake.
