The amount of precipitation that falls at Simmons Lake is close to the national average; most of the rain falls during September while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Whohoo, so many entertaining things in one place! Simmons Lake rules! In the event that you don’t have a problem getting dripping       wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Kalamazoo River, and if you're visiting from Kalamazoo-Portage, you won't be the only one. This lake is so wonderful. A fine nearby hotel is Comfort Inn & Suites, and why not visit close by Brandywine Creek since you're here at Simmons Lake. Stay the night at Pioneer Campground. Lakes are wonderful; Davis Lake is a lake that's near Simmons Lake. Gotta ski! Timber Ridge is a perfect site to do that; you're most                  likely addicted to lakes, Wilcox Lake is one of those nearby. High temperatures at Simmons Lake throughout the summertime months are in the 80's, and all through the night it cools down to the 50's. For the period of the winter highs are in the 20's, and nighttime lows in the 10's for Simmons Lake. This lake is so wonderful.
