Why not spend some time golfing at a close by golf course like Hickory Sticks Golf Course; a lake close by is Pleasant Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Comfort Inn Chelsea, and Silver Lake is not the only site nearby, Columbia Lake is a nearby lake. At Silver Lake through the long summer days       highs are in the 80's, and the overnight is slightly chillier of course, ordinarily in the 60's. Daytime highs all through the wintertime are in the 20's, and night lows at Silver Lake through the winter usually drop into the 10's. Whitewater paddling is great on Huron River; Silver Lake is a wonderful place to visit for more than one day, Jado Park Campground is a wonderful place to camp nearby. Silver Lake gets a common amount of yearly precipitation; June                  is the wettest month with most rain while February is regularly the driest month. Don't try to stop me, cause I'm havin' a glorious time here at Silver Lake.
