This lake is so wonderful. If you get bored of Silver Lake, you could also explore close by Martin Lake. There's so much to do here at Silver Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Lakeshore Park Campground is a fine site for that. Mud Lake is a nearby lake that you could stop by; Kitchens Creek is in the vicinity of Silver       Lake and is always a bliss to have a look at. A typical amount of rainfall falls here at Silver Lake; of all the months in a year September is the one with the most rain while February is regularly the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Nubs Nob has tremendous slopes and a friendly staff. At Silver Lake during the warm months highs are in the 70's; the night is slightly cooler of course, generally in the 50's. All through the winter highs are in                  the 20's while Silver Lake nighttime low temperatures all through the wintertime are in the 10's. Just can't get enough of Silver Lake. Kewadin Shores Casino Hotel is a delightful place to get some rest, and there is a good hiking trail close by called the Mackinac Trail. The North Country Trail is a perfect hiking trail in close proximity to Silver Lake, and in close proximity to Silver Lake you stumble on a golf course called St Ignace Golf & Country Club. Poupard Bay is not far from Silver Lake at all.
