Silver Lake is a good place of normal rainfall; through September this area sees the most rain, and the driest month is February. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Lakeshore Park Campground is always a       perfect experience; going for a hike on the Horseshoe Bay Trail is always a great adventure. During the warm months here at Silver Lake, high temperatures typically get into the 70's. Through the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 50's. For the period of the winter highs are in the 20's, and night lows in the 10's for Silver Lake.
