There are other spots here than Silver Lake, for example Dollar Lake; why not camp at Shady Acres Campground if you're here at Silver Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes are such peaceful locations, why not go to Marsh Lake close to Silver Lake, and       of course East Branch Black River is a charming stream that is worth checking out. During the days of summer highs here at Silver Lake get into the 80's, and through the night it cools down to the 40's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's; overnight lows in the 0's for Silver Lake.
