There's so much to do here at Silver Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Shady Acres Campground is a great spot for that; a magnificent nearby hotel is Treetops Resort. You could also visit Dollar Lake if you're here at Silver Lake; it's nearby; if you come at the right time of year, Ocqueoc River offers some pleasant whitewater. Through the days of summer highs here at Silver Lake get into the 80's with overnight lows in the 40's.
