Hanson Hills is a nice place to do that, and Shupac Lake is nice enough to spend more than a day at, Sno-trac Camper Village is a nice local campground. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Americas Best Value Inn - Gaylord, and the slopes of Treetops Sylvan are so inviting noone can resist. High temperatures at Shupac Lake throughout the warm days of summer are in the 80's. Through the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into       the 50's. Daytime highs through the wintertime are in the 20's while Shupac Lake overnight low temperatures during the winter are in the 0's. After a long day outdoors Treetops Resort is a great place to spend a night or two; since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always have a look at close by Little Shupac Lake. Not far from Shupac Lake, you'll locate Crapo Lake which is a picturesque lake, and a great site to camp here at Shupac Lake is Sno-Trac                  Village. The yearly rainfall here at Shupac Lake is about average; the wettest month of the year is regularly September, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest month is February.
