Gotta ski! Hanson Hills is a nice place to do that, and Shupac Lake is nice enough to spend more than a day at, Sno-trac Camper Village is a nice local campground. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Americas Best Value Inn - Gaylord, and the slopes of Treetops Sylvan are so inviting noone can resist. High temperatures at Shupac Lake throughout the warm days of summer are in the 80's. Through the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into

| | the 50's. Daytime highs through the wintertime are in the 20's while Shupac Lake overnight low temperatures during the winter are in the 0's. After a long day outdoors Treetops Resort is a great place to spend a night or two; since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always have a look at close by Little Shupac Lake. Treetops Sylvan

They are allowed on the entire ski area and have a new terrain park with 12 features for their own private use.The new terrain park contains 2 flat 10' beginner rails as well as a 20' intermediate round rail. There are some challenging additions such as a beginner 16' battle ship kinked rail as well as a 16' intermediate rainbow rail. In addition, there are man-made and natural jib features such as barrels, and logs that can be used to slide or jump over or tap with skis or boards. Nordic enthusiasts will find the ''Midwest's best terrain'' for cross-country skiing. The 12 km of groomed and tracked trails are all clearly marked and range in difficulty from beginner to expert. Treetops also offers extreme (snow) tubing. The tubing ride is available by 1.5 hour sessions for up to 30 people at a time. Advance reservations can be made for this exhilarating experience.
