During your spree to Shiras Pool you'll meet some people from Marquette for sure. After a long day outdoors Landmark Inn is a tremendous place to spend a night or two; if you're looking for some flowing water? Try Dead River. For the period of the summer highs here at Shiras Pool reach the 70's. All through the moonlight hours it's generally in the 50's. Through the winter highs are       typically in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Shiras Pool are in the 0's. Shiras Pool gets a typical amount of rainfall; during September this area sees the most rain, and February is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Get your heart beating on the great whitewater of Carp River, and Presque Isle Harbor has good water scenery. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a site to stay Ramada Inn is a good choice. There's so much to do here                  at Shiras Pool that you need to camp here for a while, City Of Marquette is a nice location for that. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the entertaining things at Shiras Pool. Not far from Shiras Pool, you'll find Quarry Pond which is a wonderful lake; if you want to play some golf, you're in luck because Chocolay Downs Golf Course is around here. Really good skiing awaits you at Marquette, and why not visit Lighthouse Point also while you're here. Lakes? Sure, Buschell Lake is close at hand, and if you came to camp Gitche Gumee Campground and RV is a splendid location to do that.
