Head up to Bittersweet and strap some skis to your feet. Davis Lake is a nearby lake that you could visit, and swing by Carter Creek it's a perfect location to explore. Shaw Lake gets a common amount of annual rainfall; during September this area sees the most rain; February is when it's the driest. Be careful       coming to Shaw Lake, you might not ever wanna go home again. If you need a site to stay Econo Lodge Paw Paw is a good choice, and Shaw Lake is brilliant enough to spend more than a day at, Cedar Lodge is a brilliant local campground. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Shaw Lake. Through the moonlight hours it's usually in the 50's. During the winter highs are in the 20's, and after the sun is down all through the winter temperatures at Shaw Lake descend into                  the 10's. A splendid nearby hotel is Comfort Inn & Suites, and you'll meet a lot of folks from Kalamazoo-Portage here. This lake is so wonderful.
