This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Knights Inn Elkhart is a glorious place to spend a night or two, and if you've had enough of Shavehead Lake, Birch Lake is close by. At Shavehead Lake during the days of summer highs are in the 80's, and throughout the night it cools down to the 50's. High temperatures through       the wintertime are normally in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Shavehead Lake are in the 10's. A delightful close by hotel is Best Western Inn & Suites. There's so much to do here at Shavehead Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Camelot Resort and Campgrounds is a delightful location for that.
